Wendy Harrison

Wendy is a founding member and principal of HOWES INC. As an experienced and former banker, her expertise and management capabilities exceed 30 years in the financial services sector. Fourteen years were dedicated to senior management roles in a leading banking institution.

Wendy’s wealth of experience and exposure to the strategic development of banking in the Caribbean in a managerial and directorship capacity, has contributed to the development of key core competencies inclusive of business development, business change, project management, business and sales management skills.

Her passion, vision and strong commitment to excellence has undoubtedly driven her to deliver exceptional business performance, demonstrated in her contributions to the development and leadership of high performing sales and service teams whilst managing and controlling a large and diverse client portfolio.

Wendy’s contributions in the region at board level and in the area of technical and management training has further positioned her through HOWES INC to utilize key skills to facilitate change through learning and development initiatives. Her experience as a regional trainer exceeds 10 years. She is a qualified trainer, having received extensive leadership and trainer training in Barbados and the U.K. Wendy is certified in Competence-Based Training and Assessment and also possesses the National Vocational Qualification of Jamaica (NVQ-J) in Assessment Level 4.

Wendy holds the M.Sc. degree in Financial Services Management from the University of Surrey, Guildford, UK. She is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) - a UK professional degree in Banking, and has completed a Diploma in Management with a Human Resource Concentration with the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados. She holds certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Project Definition and Project Management.
